We Got Part of Christmas Day Together

My kids had mentioned briefly that he wanted to go to the movies the next day, but of course he says nothing to me. So, the next day while I'm making lunch he stops by without calling and demands the kids go to the movies and they get ready and go. I didn't fight it. I don't want to start the swearing in front of the kids.
